Hare Krishnas with ox and cart, high street, North London, 1993
Spreading the word: Devotees, wearing the traditional dhoti, (a piece of material tied around the waist and extending to cover the legs) chant and sing down a high street in North London, accompanied by two long horn oxen pulling the “pilgrim cart” which carries deities. They firmly believe in spreading the word about their faith far and wide. The mission, to promote Krishna consciousness with the Bhagavad-gita and other ancient scriptures, 1993.
