Painful reminder, water tower, Vukovar
During the Battle of Vukovar, the water tower was hit more than 600 times during the siege. It is one of the most famous symbols of the Croatian War of independence.
It will not be restored but will remain as a memorial to the pain and suffering that Vukovar endured.
