An emergency exercise carried out at Sellafield, Cumbria.
Sellafield, Cumbria. An emergency exercise set by the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate. During the exercise a process operator breaks his leg. This 'mock' accident is to test both the ambulance, medical teams and the fire brigade. The exercise is carried out to test Sellafield’s efficiency in the event of such an emergency.
